How to Use Filmora 9 to Output Audio from your DAW in a Screen Recording

Updated: Aug 22

This is the method I currently use to make a screencast. Since I usually have to output real time audio from my DAW due to the nature of what I do, I had to find a way to do this easily. My computer is a Mac Pro on El Capitan, but newer operating systems will actually work better.

The way I do this requires no modifications to your computer settings. All I do is record my screen with Filmora 9 and add one simple DAW plugin called Meldaproduction WAV Recorder. It took me some time to figure out what works so I'm happy to share this so you can do it too!

Follow the steps in this video and you'll be up and running in no time. Post any questions on the YouTube page or below in the comments. Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel!

I use Filmora 9 to edit all my videos. You can get it here: https://bit.ly/3ec10Mk
